The Secret of Soma

Soma is the ultimate drug that exists in this universe, and it is what the ancients had access to and learned to use.

Soma is the pinnacle of ancient secrets that exists.

Soma is the ultimate drug that exists in this universe, and it is what the ancients had access to and learned to use.

It's also the thing that America does not have. America runs on a wheel that moves faster and faster and does not know how to stop until it finds a vice or drug that can facilitate an experience or a sleep that can compare to Soma. Soma was meant for us to use to make it through life, by design. This drug is the Moon. Every day, the light of the sun is what gives you the power to fuel the ego, to move forward in this world. You have this no matter what you do. What you don't have is the moon. This is not a metaphor. I'm talking about the actual moon, which affects us all. What people ignore is when people start acting bizarre. They don't correlate that to the moon's current phase.

This drug facilitates two things:

Soma facilitates rest and a contemplative state of creativity. Soma has a serenity and a bliss. This bliss is the strongest bliss experience that exists.

This Bliss is purer than any opioid. It is the
strongest pleasure substance that exists. It is more
refined. It could be called a fullness in the chest region--of pleasure.

The issue with drugs is that they have a peak point.
Soma does not have a peak. It can grow stronger with each experience.

How you connect to Soma is you have to connect to the actual Moon. There are different ways of doing that.
I spent two years with the moon to establish that connection permanently.
Once this connection is established every night, depending on the phase of the moon, you will have a different experience of Soma on nights that it's full. You will have a creative power that is a completely focused, perfectly clear mind, similar to Flow State. Soma can be complementary to a flow State.

The way you connect to the moon is I think something you might have to intuitively do.

To explain the relationship between you in the moon, anything you look at elicits a certain feeling from
you. That feeling is in your soul. If you look at something
beautiful that is being reflected in your soul and you're
experiencing something inside of you.

The moon might be your actual Soul. The actual light of your soul could be said to be the feeling of the Moon.

If you pay attention to the moon, especially on a night when clouds are passing by, especially on a night when the clouds
are covering the moon, this is similar to the clouds that cover your soul. You can still see the glow of the moon through the clouds, just like your soul.

[ You want to connect to the essence and feeling of that glow. Even though there are clouds covering your soul, the essence of your soul,
the glimmer of the glow of your soul can still be felt through the clouds.
If you look up at the night sky and you look at the moon with the clouds passing over it and wait for it to come out, and you connect to the feeling of when it finally breaks through the clouds, that pure light feeling will start to become known to you.

The more you know it, the more overpowering that feeling will be in contrast to other feelings that you have. At a certain point, it will be your only feeling.

If you're looking directly at the moon, you want to sense the muse-like quality of the moon and how it has that glow. Again, the glow is what you connect
with. It's that glow of the light of the moon that will resonate something in your soul, and the feeling of the drug you experience will be in your chest region, but it will also be in your inhale in your actual breath towards the back of your throat.

[This is called 'tuning the breath,' like tuning a guitar, you attune your breath to the feeling of the moon's radiant glow.
This is a meditation. You are focused on a single point, the moon, the feeling, your soul, and your breath, harmonizing these all as one. Eventually, your thoughts will quiet as well.]

It will feel exactly like the glow of the Moon. There's a certain radiance to
it [Especially on a full moon night when you could feel the moon's pure glow without even meditating on it].

Another Technique

Once you get acquainted with that feeling, you imagine that the Moon is looking at you, and you say
"Who is the moon looking at?
You imagine that your eyes are the eyes of the Moon, and that
Moon's eyes are looking down from the sky at you,
past your face and it's looking at something.
You're asking, what is the moon looking at?
If you connect 'What is the moon looking at' to that feeling you've just
cultivated, it will light up in you. That feeling will illuminate.
You might have to do it a few times, and if you're lucky, you'll become aware of a you that was hiding inside of you, that was 'tranquilly', peacefully watching and enjoying the experience, that was just
gazing.

This isn't the same as the Watcher part of you [in self-awareness meditations]. It's not the same as when you ask
"Who am I" in meditations.
If it is seen, this part of you will be surprised because it never expected that anyone would notice it hiding there, and it has been hiding there your entire life.

Once that connection's established, the connection to Soma will never break, and if you pay attention to that feeling, it will continue to become more known to you every year. I'd say it would get about 25% stronger.
In two or three years, it would completely dominate your
experience, but it is not an overpowering experience It's a very light experience and full experience.
[This is the same experience the poets who walk through the city night and say they are 'drunk on the night air,' they feel the energy of the people and such. These poets are drunk on Soma.]
[Soma is also a total experience; you feel it in your soul, but the world also has the same lucidity quality, similar to a light inebriation from alcohol, which is again why they say 'drunk on the night air.'

Soma doesn't have the nature of other experiences where, for example, when you go to the beach, and you have a wonderful day, and you connected to the moment, and you go home, and you're exhausted and think, 'Why am I so tired' and 'I just want to nap'.
Soma is not a physical drug, not an experience that takes from you.
Soma gives you renewal the more you're exposed to it, and that's one of its qualities of being the purest drug on Earth, the drink of the gods.
The longer you're remaining in it, you're gaining clarity you're gaining rejuvenation.
You're gaining something better than the experience of most
sleep.

If you operate creatively from that state, you'll be able to do
so with focus that is on point with the Flow State.
The difference between Soma and flow state is that flow
state does drain you, it does take energy from you.

If you create something in Soma you're not going to be tired after
it. Soma is also is so overpowering that it silences your thoughts.
It brings a quiet stillness to the mind, similar to a state of relaxation or some inhibiting drug like alcohol or chamomile.

If I were to describe its quality, it's not unlike this piano music[video]
in that it is soft, it's a gentle presence.
As you focus on it, most of it is in your lungs and breath.

In going back to how I believe the Ancients operated, I believe that they realized that there is a time and a season for action and for rest as well as times of the day and that they understood when to when and how to create, rest, and plan.

It's the rejuvenating part of this drug that is incomparable to any other you can take. One of the most common drugs people take is Benadryl PM, Diphenhydramine, which is very similar, but Benadryl is a dirty drug. It gives you a similar feeling to Soma but with a heaviness and a cloudiness in your mind. So you could gain a focus from Benadryl and a rest, but you are taking a mental hit, and a hit to your cognizance.

All you do is the next time that you happen to be sitting on a park bench or something at night, maybe you're reflecting on something and the moon happens to be out dead in front of you, you gaze at the moon, and you get a sense for what the moon feels like,
where that feeling is. You can slow down your breath and turn your entire Focus to that feeling and let it unfold over you, it will envelop you. Soma has an enveloping quality. It will coat you the first time you connect to it, or at least in the first times you connect to it. It will swallow you, you could say, possess you.

As soon as your soul tastes it, your soul will desire it and reach for that drink like a moth to flame, and once this connection establishes, your soul will always drink from it. This is always a full drink, a full cup, the quality of fullness is there. It's a full pleasure.

On a night of a full moon, you will not want to go inside. The feeling is perfect, pure, and you'll feel yourself charging under direct contact, so in that time you will be desiring nothing, you'll just want the moment to last longer. Soma is like the Muse in this way in that is enchanting, like being under a love spell,
as if the goddess of the night or the moon goddess herself was connecting with you.

The connection to Soma also increases your sensitivity of the darker nights, when the moonlight is exposing the darkness in the soul that must be rid of, let go of, this can be rather intense, but I would think it is better to be more aware in these nights then less aware, because these nights affect everyone, regardless of their connection.

When the moon is in other phases, such as a waning or waxing moon, or a blood moon, this will also be a more difficult or intense experience, such as a strong pulling or passion, or desire to connect deeper to a more pure part of the self, but it is bearable.

to reiterate, it's the rejuvenating quality that makes Soma the drink of the gods, it is a cup that just keeps filling, and provides rest to the mind from the overactive ego
